Unfortunately, I can't support self-hosted GitLab actively because I don't have any environment with it. Patches are always welcome (and thanks again!)

Welcome :) I'll be happy to help, just a note: Self-hosted GitLab instances have the same underlying code as gitlab.com. Only the first part of the URL changes between self-hosted and gitlab.com, everything else is the same for our purposes. Thus, I expect that that'll be trivial to maintain. |
