A first step is in Felucca 1.1.5: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.1.5 On the SEQ pages, hold SEQ for the new SEQ TOOLS layer. RANDOM makes a new beat on a DRUM track, or new notes in the track's scale on a melodic one (keeping its rhythm; an empty pattern gets one). COOK changes the pattern a little, and drifts further each time you press it. On a DRUM track there's also BEAT and RANDOM for a single lane. SAVE held undoes the last tool, and OCT− puts the pattern back as it was when you opened the layer. Thanks for the pointer @halida! Generating whole phrases is still for later, but I'll close this one; let me know how RANDOM and COOK feel. |

@halida The tools only open on the SEQ pages. Tap SEQ first (the STEP page, or the drum grid on a DRUM track), then hold SEQ: the SEQ TOOLS map shows. With SEQ still held, press the C in the middle (C4, the fifth white key from the left) for RANDOM, or D4 next to it for COOK. On the HOME page, SEQ held opens SONG instead, which is probably what happened. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I found it is quite helpful to have a seq generator, write notes is hard for me.
