I like this. It needs some care with flash wear (saving only when something changed and the transport is stopped), but it's very doable. Noted for 1.2. |

This is in Felucca 1.1.5: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.1.5 Turn the FM-1 off and on and your session comes back (the header says RESTORED). It's an autosave of its own, separate from the four project slots, and it's written only when something changed, the transport is stopped and nothing has been touched for 10 seconds, at most once a minute, to go easy on the flash. MENU > SYSTEM > RESTORE LAST turns it off (it's on by default). Thanks for the idea @gospodindilly-ops! I'll close this one. |

Hey Leo!
One small feature I think would make Felucca much nicer to use: an automatic “last project” restore.
Basically, when the FM-1 is powered on, it would automatically load the last project you were working on before turning it off.
I noticed SLOOP already has this working — it autosaves the working project to flash when the transport is stopped and nothing is playing, and restores it on power-up.
The implementation is here:
https://github.com/isod89/sloop-fm1/blob/d691ba7b2d922f1a1f41a3622cffe29ce41c5506/firmware/src/project.c
Maybe something similar could be adapted for Felucca?
It would be really nice to just turn the FM-1 on and continue exactly where I left off, without having to manually save/load anything.
What do you think?
