Good point. The scope reads the output after MASTER, so it shrinks when you turn it down. I'll add a setting to show the mix before MASTER instead, so it looks the same at any volume. Noted for 1.2.

MENU > DISPLAY > SCOPE has OUT (as before) and MIX. MIX shows the mix before MASTER, so the scope stays the same size whatever the volume knob says.
