Thanks! Just to be sure I get it: while the sequencer plays, the notes already sound, so do you mean hearing the step's notes while you move the cursor on SEQ > STEP with the sequencer stopped? That would be easy to add as an option, and I'll look at it with the 1.2 sequencer work. |

This is in Felucca 1.4: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.4 Turn on MENU > CONTROL > STEP PREVIEW. With the sequencer stopped, moving the cursor on SEQ > STEP (KNOB 1 or PRESETS, and the page keys on the drum grid) plays the step it lands on once, through the track's sound. It never sounds while playing, and it's off by default. Thanks for the idea @gospodindilly-ops! I'll close this one. |

It would be nice if the when stop sequencer could briefly play/audition a note when the playhead reaches it, in addition to the current visual indication.
This would make it much easier to understand the pattern just by watching the sequencer, especially when editing notes or checking a pattern without having to play the whole sequence.
Maybe it could be optional if there are concerns about unwanted sound while editing.
