the processing would happen in-editor |

not sure but i think the samples are already downsampled to 22KHz when uploading ? Assuming the Engine is running with at least 44.1 KHz, i would prefer to have the option to load very short drumshots at full/original sample rate. If possible. |

1.6 is out: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.6 Thanks for the idea @etyrnal, and @positionhigh for the detail about short drum hits. This is in the web editor with 1.6. When you drop files into a user slot, you can now pick the slot's sample rate and bit depth before writing it:
It all happens in the editor, as you suggested. The size line shows how much of the slot the result takes before you write it, and the preview plays it the way it will be stored. The defaults are the same as before, so nothing changes unless you choose to. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
EDITOR: When dropping samples into the WEB EDITOR, please make the ability to down sample bit dept and bit rate to save space and or create LoFi samples. Or allow the option to shift samples up an octave or two to make the samples shorter/smaller in memory, so that when the user assigns the sample in the sample or granular engines, they can have a nice low-fi version of the sample they can pitch down to get the original sound (but more lo-fi).
