Perhaps add dimming options to Inverted mode also to protect the eyes from that beaming glow

Thanks. I read this as the key LEDs: 1.6 adds INV LO and INV HI to MENU > DISPLAY > LEDS. They work like INV, but the lit keys sit at a low, steady level instead of full brightness. If you meant the screen backlight, let me know. That one is harder, because the backlight pin is shared with the key matrix.
