Exporting and importing single projects

Would be really convenient if we could do this to bring back a song instead of having to reimport (and overwrite) everything else

Thanks, I agree this would be much nicer than a full restore. Exporting and importing a single project will come in the web editor, which is now developed in its own repository, Felucca-WebApp. I'll post here when it's there.

Thanks for waiting, and sorry it took a while. This is in the editor with 1.6.

In the PROJECT tab every project slot (A–D) now has two more buttons:

• EXPORT saves that one project to a file.
• IMPORT loads a project file into the slot you choose. If the slot already holds a project, the editor asks before overwriting it.

So you can keep songs as separate files and bring one back without restoring a whole backup, and without touching the other slots, your sounds or your samples. The file holds the project exactly as the FM-1 stores it.

If a project uses features your firmware doesn't have yet (for example conditional steps from a newer version), the editor tells you and doesn't send it; update the FM-1 first.
