Thanks! Editing each operator on the device is planned, with an operator selector along the lines of the original's top row. Until then, the web editor's 6-OP FM tab edits every operator of an FM6 patch. Keeping this open. |

Agreed! One idea I had was using key combos on the keyboard to quickly jump to specific ops and screens. E.g. 6 keys for selecting the op, and then keys for 1) freq/ratio 2) env rates 3) env levels 4) mod params. Basically something to enable getting to the editor view you need quickly without having to click cycle through all the screens. |

This is in Felucca 1.4: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/releases/tag/v1.4 On an FM6 track, EDIT now goes EDIT 1, EDIT 2, OPERATOR, OP ENV, OPERATOR 2. KNOB 1 picks the operator (shown on the algorithm chart), and it stays picked across the three pages. OPERATOR has RATIO (or the fixed frequency), FINE and LEVEL; OP ENV has each stage's RATE and LEVEL, drawn as the envelope; OPERATOR 2 has MODE, DTUN and VEL. Every change is heard at once, makes the patch the track's own (SLOT OWN), and SAVE held undoes it. Projects and user presets keep it, and the web editor reads it back. Thanks @Wulgaren, and @abelnation for the ideas! I'll close this one. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
i think the highlighting top row in edit mode in the original software is a pretty cool and fast solution to this, would bringing that back and adding editing separate operators like in the OG use much resources?
it'd just be really cool if this had 100% feature parity with the original like baud girl has, cause i prefer this one's ux way more!
thank you so much for all the great work
