Layer Lock / Latch

One UI improvement I’d really love to see is a Layer Lock / Latch function.

At the moment, some functions require holding buttons like FX, SCL, ENV or LFO to access their layers. It would be really convenient if a layer could be latched/locked instead, so you don’t have to keep holding the button while working with it.

For example, a double press could lock the layer, and pressing the button again could exit it.

This would make the existing controls much more comfortable to use, especially for longer editing sessions.

Oh, sorry — I just realized that I had already described a very similar idea in another discussion. I should probably have added this there instead of creating a separate feature request

This is in Felucca 1.0.3: double-tap FX, GLO, SCL or EDIT and its layer stays open without holding the button (a lock shows in the header). Tap the button again, or press another page button, HOME, SAVE or SEQ, to close it. Thanks for the suggestion, and no worries about the duplicate!
