Backend engineer focused on developer productivity and infrastructure automation. I spend most of my time building CLI tools and writing glue code that makes repetitive ops work disappear.
- Python — primary language, most of my tooling lives here
- Go — picking this up for anything that needs to ship as a single binary
- Shell — bash/zsh scripting for the stuff that doesn't need more than that
- Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines — the usual habitat
Mostly internal-ish tools around deployment workflows and local dev environment setup. Nothing public right now, but I'm hoping to clean up a couple of things and open source them soon.
Getting more comfortable with Go — specifically around building CLIs with cobra and distributing them properly. Also slowly working through some systems programming fundamentals.
