2026.26.6.1 FSD unlock work and safe? #162

Straight answer for 2026.26.6.1: the nag killer, TLSSC Restore, captures, and the Summon EU unlock work; FSD activation over CAN does not. On 2026.14.x and later (which includes .26.x), the car runs a preflight that detects and rejects injected FSD-enable frames and refuses to arm — this was just confirmed frame-by-frame on a real 14.6 car in #163 (reject in ~0.15–0.4 s, every time). It's not a wiring or tuning issue; the region lock lives off-CAN, so no CAN tool engages FSD on a region-locked car. On "safe": nag-only has no confirmed VIN-ban case that I know of. But be aware Tesla has been remotely detecting CAN-injection FSD-unlock devices and stripping FSD (reverting to base AP) — so anything in the FSD-activation family carries real risk on current firmware, on top of not working. The device boots Listen-Only by default; keep it there unless you specifically want the nag killer. |

Sorry if this has been answered before, quite new to this. Would any configuration of this software work for uk? Im intending to purchase the FSD subscription if it works. HW3 model 3 2021, would love a take on this, heard they upgraded the security for this stuff server side? Will it work or not? |

So FSD unlock is not possible anymore? For USA imported car to EU not possible too? If car has FSD Package bought. |

Answering both of you together, since it's the same question: @jackrobins05-png (UK, HW3 2021): don't buy the FSD subscription expecting this tool to unlock it. On current firmware, FSD activation over CAN is blocked — the car runs a preflight that rejects the injection, and the actual region lock lives off-CAN (gateway/VIN/backend entitlement), so CAN injection can't flip it. The nag killer, TLSSC Restore, Summon EU distance unlock and captures do work, but those are not FSD itself. Yes, they hardened it server-side — that part is accurate. @Tesla234987234sdf (USA import → EU, FSD package purchased): same answer. If the FSD package is already bought/entitled on the car, whether it's usable in the EU is a backend/region-entitlement matter, not something CAN injection changes. This tool won't convert a US-entitled car into an EU-FSD-enabled one. See #163 for the frame-level proof of why the activation injection aborts on 14.x+. |

I try to just use eu summon unlock. but it doesnt work. Nothing happend. Area is still in EU mode and not work over 6m away from car. Do you have any idea? Is just enable smart summon eu unlock. Nothing else. Car is not blacklisted vin. |

Consolidated the answer over in #175 so it's all in one place — short version: this is most likely the bus. On 2026.14.x+/.26.x the car reads the Vehicle-CAN copy of |

Hello,
is it safe to use it on 2026.26.6.1 Firmware? Does it work right now?
