Monocle Layout

This has been asked time and time again. There doesn't seem to be a solution for a DWM style Monocle layout.

i.e. Within a single workspace, have a bind to toggle between Master <-> Monocle layout. When toggling the layout, all the windows currently within that workspace will be maximized, and you can then cyclenext to cycle between the maximized windows. I'm really liking hyprland.. but honestly, will probably stop using it without a good solution for this problem.

Ah, awesome.. well- looks I'm over to another WM for a few months at least. Are there any hacks which actually work?

yes

misc:on_focus_under_fullscreen = 1
misc:exit_window_retains_fullscreen = true
binds:movefocus_cycles_fullscreen = true

do the trick but resize animation are a big ugly.
