HDR + blur

Do you also get a black background when you close any window with HDR and blur enabled? This happens when closing all windows: layers, clients . This doesn't happen if I turn off HDR and/or blur

Same here—I just finished setting up my Lua configuration, and everything works fine in sRGB, no issues at all. But switching to HDR makes my screen look “washed out”: the QuickShell bar flickers black, there are no border colors, and no blur... In short, I’m sure this will be fixed with a patch, but for now I recommend switching back to sRGB.

i straight up don't have blur in hdr.

I don't get a black screen, but as @rysieko, I have no blur (also no window border) after migrating to Lua and 0.55. When not in HDR both blur and window borders works. When activating HDR, both goes away.

I just updated to 0.55 after getting my Desktops lua config to a usable state and noticed waybar being a solid black block after a few seconds.
Colors being washed out even when with the same settings on 0.54 it looked good.
i mean yea hdr is experimental but that it broke this hard uff, hope it will get better soon, as i really like the new lua config

Seems blur fixes with ``use_shader_blur_blend = 1` and grayness screen by setting proper luminance settings. However still getting weird black boxes on screen blinking, specially in waybar. Are those related with these two things too or is it separate issue?
