Greetings

After a long time, I am happy to introduce one of the most significant updates to the project: the ability to use the BrickSet API to retrieve set information.

Change Log:

This version includes name changes to the original methods. I also added new methods.

BrickLink:

  • GetSetNameFromBrickSet - This function will return the item name
  • GetSetMiniFigNumberFromBrickLink - This function will return the number of minifigures for the set
  • (New)GetSetMiniFigCollectionFromBrickLink - This function will return the number of minifigures for the set
  • GetSetThumbnailFromBrickLink - This function will return the item Thumbnail
  • GetSetImageFromBrickLink - This function will return the item image
  • GetSetReleaseYearFBrickLink - This function will return the item release year
  • GetSetTypeFromBrickLink - This function will return the item type (Set, gear, etc.)
  • GetSetAvgPriceFromBrickLink - This function will return the item's average price.
  • GetSetCategoryFromBrickLink - This function will return the item category ID.

BrickSet:

  • (New)GetSetNameFromBrickSet - This function will return the item name
  • (New)GetSetThemeFromBrickSet - This function will return the item theme
  • (New)GetSetImageURLFromBrickSet - This function will return the item image URL
  • (New)GetSetThumbnailURLFromBrickSet - This function will return the item thumbnail URL
  • (New)GetSetReleaseYearFromBrickSet - This function will return the item release year
  • (New)GetSetPartsNumberFromBrickSet - This function will return the item part number
  • (New)GetSetUPCFromBrickSet - This function will return the item UPC
  • (New)GetSetDescriptionFromBrickSet - This function will return the item description
  • (New)GetSetOriginalPriceFromBrickSet - This function will return the item's original retail price

Miscellaneous:

(New)updateSetInCache - This function will update the item record in the DB

Known Limitations:

  • BrickSet is limiting the number of API Calls, so please make sure you have the proper permission before using it
