What do we actually want out of DAG.__getitem__?

    state=lambda transition_func, symbol: None,
    state_func=lambda recorder_switch, state: None,
)

t.dot_digraph()

Now,

t['transition_func':].dot_digraph()

which always confuses me. I know there was a rationale behind this choice, but I need to revise it, or document it well, because it's still strange to me, who decided on it.

What do I find missing? The plc and store. I was expecting the same as t['transition_func store plc':].dot_digraph() would give me:

[thorwhalen]
