This update brings a major round of improvements, with a strong focus on Metroid Prime, element overrides, Vulkan rendering, and overall performance.

  • All major Metroid Prime fixes from the 2016 DolphinVR-Hydra branch have now been ported and integrated, including: Detect Skybox, Remove Cinematic Bars, 3D HUD, Visor EFB Skips...

  • These fixes have also been improved with additional work, such as the Layered Palette Conversion Path, which restores the thermal, X-Ray, dark, and scanner visor effects in Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3

  • Added Headlock HUD support for Metroid Prime Trilogy

  • Fixed the Element Override Tool, which can now finally work with projection-based definition overrides

  • Added a new Texture Element Override system that, unlike shader-based overrides, uses the texture hash to identify elements. It is easier to use and should remain persistent across versions

  • Updated Vulkan with new fixes; it now uses full projection for every headset

  • Improved performance through multiple bug fixes.

  • Also includes an experimental release for Meta Quest 3 and Debian Linux
