Do I need to log in now?

Hi, I haven't updated AionUI for about two months, and now it's asking me to log in to use it. It's a PC that I don't connect to the internet for security reasons, and I want to know if logging in and having an account is now required, or if I can still use it completely offline.

I made a new installation and I also have to log in. I thought this application is opensource and local???
