In the LithTech engine, sprites are 2D visual effects placed within a 3D world. They are commonly used for special effects such as smoke, bullet trails, lens flares, and liquid droplets.
This is how its looks in Hex editor
Sprites (.SPR files) are animations created by linking a series of .DTX files together at a specific frame rate. They are widely used for animations and special effects such as smoke, bullet holes, and liquid droplets.
When you want to open a Lithtech sprite, it is recommended that you open it from the location of the archive file you extracted; otherwise, the sprite's frames may not load
Some sprites may still not load; this is a known bug in the Vortigaunt Tool and will be fixed later.
