As of September 4, 2026, iTwinUI is in maintenance mode. In accordance with our support policy, we will continue to address critical bug fixes and security patches. We will also continue updating the theme bridge, which helps teams adopt StrataKit incrementally while keeping iTwinUI components visually aligned with StrataKit. All new component development and future enhancements efforts have moved to StrataKit.
All non-critical iTwinUI issues have been closed and labeled Closed due to StrataKit to reflect this transition.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to iTwinUI and used it in your applications. iTwinUI began as a ground-up side project to bring visual consistency to our products, establish shared standards, and reduce duplicated effort. We made meaningful progress, even though we didn’t achieve everything we originally set out to do. The experience and lessons gained along the way are informing our work on StrataKit.
