Quarkdown in quarto

Is it possible to write in quarkdown in the markdown parts of the quarto documents? Can one implement quarkdown for formulas, tables with formatting etc. to quarto (qmd) files?

There are no plans for a direct integration, but Quarkdown->Markdown export is planned for the v2.1.0 release. You might be able to set a script or CI up to pipe Quarkdown's Markdown output to Quarto.
