Remotedesk - Public Beta Release

🎉 Remotedesk — First Public Beta

Thank you for trying Remotedesk! This is the first public beta — built for developers, IT professionals, and MSPs who want fast, secure remote desktop access without paying high prices.

We are sharing this early so real users can help us find bugs, test performance across different networks, and give feedback before the stable release.

⚠️ Important — Please read before installing

Windows SmartScreen warning is expected.
The installer is currently unsigned (code signing certificate is in progress).
Windows will show a "Windows protected your PC" warning. To proceed:

1. Click "More info"
2. Click "Run anyway"

This is safe.

uiAccess = true is disabled on unsigned builds.
This means not all keystrokes will work correctly in elevated windows
Full keyboard input will be enabled in the signed release (v1.0.1 stable).

• 🖥️ Multi-monitor support — switch between monitors during a live session
• 📁 File transfer — share files during a session
• 💬 In-session chat — encrypted text chat while connected
• 🔑 Unattended access — connect to your own machines without someone present
• 🌐 Low-bandwidth mode — adaptive quality on low bandwidth

🐛 Known issues in this beta

• uiAccess = true is disabled — keystrokes may not work in elevated/admin windows (UAC, Task Manager). Will be fixed in the signed release.
• SmartScreen warning on install — expected for unsigned builds.
• Wake-on-LAN is not yet implemented.
• Session recording saves locally only
