Idea: pixel art video chat

Video chat app where your face is made of big blocky pixels. A must for pixel art fans!

I would love to be able to switch to this when the bandwidth is too poor for a normal video chat. I'm wondering if it wouldn't still add some of the phatic value of having video.

Fun idea. Would be fun to be able to chat to a random person too and have their pixel face be made up from the flag colors of the country they are from :) kinda like chatroullete but with pixelated faces
