A reliability release.

  • Fixed a launch crash on some Macs. The bundled Daybook fonts failed to load on Macs other than the one the app was built on, which could crash Hindsight at startup. Fonts now load reliably on every Mac.
  • Smoother Screen Recording grant. After you allow Screen Recording, setup shows a clear “Relaunch Hindsight” step — macOS only applies this permission to a freshly launched app, so the relaunch is what makes the grant take effect.

Requires macOS 14.2 or later, Apple Silicon.
