Meeting recording now starts instantly.

  • No more waiting to record. Previously, starting a meeting could pause on “Preparing speech model…” while the on-device model loaded. Now recording begins immediately and captures audio from the first second; the speech model loads in the background.
  • Visible transcription progress. While the model loads, the transcript area shows a progress bar instead of a frozen screen, and the transcript fills in as soon as the model is ready. The full meeting is always transcribed when you stop.

Requires macOS 14.2 or later, Apple Silicon.
