Not at the moment, but we are looking at implementing this quite soon.
Also, not at the moment, unless a parameter is created and linked to it. Direct access to operations will likely be a little bit away.
You should be able to manipulate the plate if it was modelled in API, Can you double-check if you turn on the developer tab to see whether you can, or else I may need to add a bug on this one. |

Hi,
I have multiple connections which are parametric as well as simple in nature. For instance, a simple fin plate (as shown below), end plate, gusset plate connections etc.
To check the strength and stiffness requirements of the column I have to model all the connections connecting to the column at the node (snapshot attached as below).
To avoid repetitive work, I would like to apply the existing parametric templates to this nodal connections. However, I've noticed only one parametric template can be applied in a single .ideaCon file.
So, can anyone answer the following questions:
Is there a work around to apply multiple parametric templates to a single .ideaCon file.
If '1' is not feasible then is there a way to access the operations through API.
If '2' is also not feasible then the required connections can be modelled using API but the plates modelled using API cannot be freely modified by the user at a later stage. So, is there any better way to model the connections automatically which gives the user to modify the plates at a later stage.
P.S: With regards to point 3 refer the following snapshot. The highlighted stiffener was modelled using API for which the location cannot be modified manually.
