How to add external loads through IOM and Checkbot

Hi! I'm currently trying to build a custom tool for generating IOM xml files for importing through Checkbot into Member (it's actually public at https://apps.pprp.pl/iom/ - it's not English, but it's there). I found the examples here extremely helpful! However, what I also desperately need is a way to pass point and line loads into Member. Adding and modifying loads in Member is tedious and time consuming, especially if they're complicated. I failed to find any useful information regarding how to import them. I managed to find two closed tags which seem to be designed for that purpose: and in the Import.xml file generated by Checkbot on import. I'm not interested in importing internal forces results, as the stiffness of the connections plays a massive role and changes them dramatically, so I want to rely on Member to calculate them.

Hi @PaulR25OST, it is not possible now. Checkbot doesn't import loading. The most straightforward solution would be to import the structural data directly to Member app.
But this feature is not implemented in Member.
You can add a request for this feature.

Hi @mpospisil, thanks for the quick answer. How do I add the request? Not that I'm lazy, I've searched, but it seems it's not easy to find via google search or something. Do I make a case in the user panel?

Hi @PaulR25OST, we will take your request and add it - You do not need to do anything further. We do not have a publicly avaliable API for Member, so this would be the first step for us.
