TI Toolbox Preprocess Error

I've been playing with the TI Toolbox. I hit an error and am just summarizing what I did:

1. I went to the Georgetown dataset
2. The first subject AJQ failed
3. I ran the second subject BLT and this also failed

The log and the screenshot are below. Any thoughts on why this is failing? Is there a specific dataset I can try?

Thanks for the detailed report and log. I had a look through the attached preprocessing log. The dataset is being found correctly and SimNIBS charm is starting as expected. It gets through segmentation and cortical surface creation, then the underlying SimNIBS process is killed during the meshing stage: /root/SimNIBS-4.6/bin/charm: line 2: ... Killed ...

That usually indicates that the container ran out of available memory, rather than a BIDS/layout problem or a TI-Toolbox Python exception.

Could you check the resources allocated to Docker Desktop, especially the memory limit? On macOS this is controlled from Docker Desktop settings.

If Docker is only allocated a small fraction of your 24 GB RAM, increasing that allocation may resolve this. I would also suggest closing other memory-heavy applications while running CHARM.

As a sanity check, you can also try preprocessing the built-in ernie sample data? We have validated that sample on a similar 24 GB RAM system, so if ernie also fails, that would further point to this specific CHARM meshing run needing more available Docker memory rather than a general toolbox setup issue.
