Aligns Cargo.toml and npm/package.json descriptions with the new GitHub repo description and About-page positioning.

Summary

  • Cargo.toml: ilo — a programming language for AI agentsilo - the first token-minimal programming language for AI agents. Open-sourced February 2026.
  • npm/package.json: same update; also drops the em dash for a hyphen.

Lands the value-prop + firstness + date in the two registry surfaces. GitHub repo description already updated via gh repo edit. Site About-page receipts (first commit 2026-02-24, v0.1.0 release 2026-02-27) defend the firstness claim.

Takes effect on next crates and npm publish (planned for 0.12.0).

Test plan

  • CI green

Updates Cargo.toml and npm/package.json description fields to match the GitHub repo description and About-page positioning: "the first token-minimal programming language for AI agents. Open-sourced February 2026."

Drops the firstness claim from package descriptions after spotting LMQL (2022) as a prior prompt-DSL in the broader space. The cleaner category line is 'languages AI agents write' (vs prompt DSLs which humans write), so the descriptions lead with that disambiguation instead.
