Where technically possible, the vanilla cost-efficiency principle of the stonecutter has been preserved: for example, crafting stairs yields a 1:1 ratio instead of the 6:4 ratio found in the crafting table.

• Furnaces, Stonecutters, Droppers, Dispensers, Observers, and Stone Tools can now be crafted not only from cobblestone but also from Stone, Deepslate, Cobbled Deepslate, Andesite, Diorite, Granite, Blackstone, and Tuff.
• When crafting a Redstone Comparator and Redstone Repeater, you can use Deepslate instead of stone.
• New recipe for a Redstone Repeater using 2 Redstone Dust, a Stick, and 3 stones or deepslate.
• Quick recipe for a Lectern using 3 Books and any 2 Logs.
• New recipes for a Note Block and Jukebox using any 2 Logs and Redstone Dust / Diamond respectively.
• To craft a Cartography Table, Fletching Table, and Smithing Table, you can use a Crafting Table or any Log instead of 4 planks.
• New recipe for a Trapped Chest using the regular chest shape but adding a Tripwire Hook in the center.
• When crafting a Blast Furnace, you can use a Smoker instead of a regular furnace, and vice versa — a blast furnace works for crafting a smoker.
• Reverse crafting for a Piston: you can now obtain a regular piston from a Sticky Piston.
• New craft for a Shulker Box from 2 Shulker Shells, a Barrel, and any Plank.
• All crafting recipes for Shulker Boxes (including the vanilla one and the new barrel variant) are now shapeless.
• In recipes for the End Crystal, Ender Chest, and Beacon, you can use Crying Obsidian instead of regular obsidian.
• Quick recipe for Rails using 3 Sticks and 2 Blocks of Iron.
• New craft for a Minecart with Chest: modeled similarly to the minecart with hopper.
• New craft for a Minecart with TNT: from 5 Iron Ingots and TNT.
• New craft for a Minecart with Furnace: from 5 Iron Ingots and a Furnace.
• Block of Raw Iron, Block of Raw Gold, and Block of Raw Copper can be smelted whole directly into Iron, Gold, and Copper Blocks (works only in a Blast Furnace).
• New craft for a Chain: using Iron Ingots instead of nuggets and Blocks of Iron instead of ingots.
• New craft for a Copper Chain: using Copper Ingots instead of nuggets and Blocks of Copper instead of ingots.
• New recipes for Torches: Plank + 2 Coal, or any Log + 8 coal.
• Crafting Bread from 3 Hay Bales.
• Two new alternative recipes for crafting Arrows.
• Crafting Beetroot Seeds from 2 Beetroots.
• Crafting a Glass Bottle from 3 Glass Panes.
• Crafting the Carrot on a Stick and Warped Fungus on a Stick is now shapeless.
• New craft for a Crossbow from a Bow.
• Quick craft for a Grindstone from Planks.
• Quick craft for an Eye of Ender from 2 Ender Pearls and a Blaze Rod.

Integration with the Recipe Book

Unlike most datapacks that simply add new crafting recipes, this project features full integration into the advancements/recipes system. This means you do not need to constantly check this page to look up a recipe. All new crafts will unlock exactly as they do in vanilla Minecraft — upon obtaining the required ingredient or performing a specific action.
