📥 Installation

Method 1: Direct Install (Recommended)

  1. Download blockit-extension.crx from this release
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right)
  4. Drag and drop the .crx file into the extensions page
  5. Click Add extension when prompted

Method 2: Load Unpacked

  1. Download and extract the ZIP file
  2. Go to chrome://extensions/
  3. Enable Developer mode
  4. Click Load unpacked
  5. Select the extracted folder

🔧 First Time Setup

  1. Click the extension icon
  2. Click "Create Account"
  3. Fill in your details (username, display name, password, avatar)
  4. Click "Register"
  5. Start focusing! 🚀

📖 Quick Start

  1. Start Focus - Click extension icon → Select time → Start
  2. Add Friends - Dashboard → Social → Enter username → Add Friend
  3. View Stats - Dashboard shows your productivity stats
  4. Join Chat - Social → Community Chat (disabled during focus)
  5. Compete - Check Leaderboard to see your rank

🐛 Known Issues

  • Server may take ~30 seconds to wake up on first request (free tier)
  • Chat history limited to last 50 messages
  • Extension requires internet connection
