Faster Way to Curate Albums with Full Size View of Photos

(I accidentally wrote this already in a closed discussion so decided to create a new thread. Thanks for overlooking my confusion.)

I would like to propose a better UX experience to curate albums while checking photos in full size view.

To elaborate: An example where this is useful is when you have multiple sets of similar photos (e.g. multiple photos of the same moments or situations) where you want to have only one or two of these photos per moment/situation in the album. A normal approach is to open the photos in full size viewer to better be able to decide which photo to have in the album. As there might be hundreds of photos in an album it is beneficial to minimize the amount of clicks / taps.

In general you can do this constructive (a) or destructive (b).
a) open the photo in full size viewer from timeline and then click the three dot menu, choose "add to album" and chose the album (three clicks) in webview or tap on the plus and choose the album (two taps) in mobile app.
b) You just bulk-add all relevant photos to an album, go through them in full size viewer and remove unfitting photos from album. There you even have to go back to the album view, mark the photo, click the three dot menu and hit "remove from album" (four clicks) in webviewer or go back to album view, long press the photo and choose "remove from album" (three taps).

There is option c) (which is the intended workflow I suppose) where you mark all photos you want to add to an album in e.g. the timeline view. There the user is able to open respective photos in a new tab to see them in full size view.

Here a user needs three clicks (open in full size viewer in new tab, close the tab and mark photo) in webviewer. With the mobile app I did not find any possibility where I mark photos and can see single photos in full size view.

This was a long text to show that curating albums with checking photos in full size viewer is cumbersome.

I would like the following workflow: bulk-add multiple photos to an album (e.g. create an appropriate search and bulk-add all found images to an album), open the album, open the photos then in full size viewer from the album view and remove photos from the album with one click from this view. As the next photo from the album is shown in this view when clicked on "next" (/swiped), and "back" leads to the album view, the context of the Album should be available somehow.

I want to delimit my proposal from viewing photos in the normal timeline, open it there in the full size viewer and remove it then from "an" album. I understand that there the album context can't be clear in each occasion. E.g #8390.

I found #10364 and #9855 that give me the impression that my proposed workflow is not only used / expected by me. It appears to me in these requests the people would expect behavior which fits to my proposed workflow.

There are other options to achieve better curability using full size view. Like having a button with an "add to [suggested album]" in the full size viewer that would add the photo directly to a album with one click / tap.
But I think the implementation of this approach would have a higher complexity.

Therefore I want to discuss my proposed workflow, but would be open to possible other solutions to curate albums with single clicks / taps while being in the full size viewer.
