I have searched the existing feature requests to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Currently I see of no way to favorite an image that popped up during a slide show. So you need to stop the slide show, and then favorite and then resume slide show:

It would have been helpful if this was possible right from the slideshow controls.
