[Feature] Enhance Album Associations Across Subsequent Syncs

Currently, when uploading assets from mobile devices to Immich, the system automatically associates the uploaded assets with their corresponding albums, preserving the original album structure. While this functionality is useful for maintaining organization, it does not reflect changes made to album associations on the mobile device, such as when assets are removed from a camera roll album. This results in outdated album associations within Immich.

Current Behavior:
Immich only adds album associations for assets during syncs, lacking a mechanism to remove or update these associations when changes occur in the camera roll. For example, if a user removes an asset from an album on their mobile device, Immich does not adjust its corresponding album, leaving the asset incorrectly associated and causing discrepancies between the app and the device.

Proposed Behavior:
Implement a synchronization mechanism to ensure that changes to album associations on the mobile device are accurately mirrored in Immich. This can be achieved by:

• Adding a monitoring feature that tracks album modifications on the mobile device and communicates these updates during subsequent uploads or through a periodic sync process to reconcile album associations between the device and Immich.
• Updating the functionality of the existing manual sync button to reflect the suggested feature, allowing users to trigger synchronization and align album structures effectively.
• Ensuring that Immich assets are left untouched if the corresponding file in the camera roll is no longer present.

Benefits:

• Ensures that album structures in Immich accurately reflect the user’s camera roll.
• Reduces confusion caused by outdated or incorrect album associations as long as the assets are in sync.
• Allows users to maintain a unified organization system across their devices and Immich.
