I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Simple request. Please can you enable files to be ranked by size primarily. Using this one could prune excessive large videos to recover disk space or remove files that have had their resolution reduced.

I don't really understand this. Sorting by file size on disk is not something immich will do. You can use a tool to spit that out for you to check the disk file size. There's an open FR to sort by file size in the apps already.

Also immich doesn't touch original files so there will never be a file that has it's resolution reduced.

I meant like the time line works for time of creation to sort them, I would like be able have an option to use the file size to order them. Then the user could choose to delete them or not and free up disk space.
Some OTHER apps reduce the resolution e.g. Whatsapp.

@WPS12TA I don't know if it helps your use case but in the web-ui there is an option under Utilities to "Review Large Files" which...lists your largest files in descending size order i.e. you can easily find the largest files in your library. YMMV
