[Feature] Delete key behaviour in album

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Using the delete button or key in an album is moving the selected image(s) to trash.
My expected default behaviour would be that the images are only removed from the album.
Would be cool if this behaviour could be changed.

Sorry, for the late reply.

I wouldn't move a photo to trash from within an album.
Either it is only possible to move photos to trash from the general section or via the context menu in the album and not on the [DEL] button.
As @foefelein-oss writes, it is also for me an intuitive behaviour depending on the context what [DEL] does.

i'd say [DEL] for move to trash, [r] for remove from album

I had the same problem, deleted assets from an album with [DEL] being not aware that this removes the assets at all (moves them to the trash). In my understanding the intuitive behavior would be that [DEL] just removes the image from the album, even if this is context specific different than doing so within the library where the image is and should be moved to the trash.

i don't think context-specific behavior would be beneficial, makes things less explicit and rather ambiguous. One use case, one shortcut binding. Which key would make sense for you?

how about Del => remove from Album, Shift-Del => move to Trash ?

When this gets to be implemented, please make sure to allow "remove from album" without the dialog to confirm as an option.

And along these lines, change the delete icon when viewing an image from an album to just remove from the album.
