The feature

I am wondering if about extending the album chat activity to register not just comments, likes, hearts, etc, and a recent record of who was viewed the photos recently. This is available in Google Photos, and is currently the only feature that my wife still wants to see before completely transitioning to Immich.
Also, I would welcome an opportunity to do it myself, I just want to check if there is openness to this feature. If privacy is a concern, could be an an opt-in thing?

The screenshot isn't clear to me, can you clarify what you're asking for exactly? Is it to see events of who has viewed what assets?

That’s correct. It’s the three circles that say someone’s looked up to that point in the album.

But is that saying which things in the album they've seen, or which events they've seen (ie they've seen the like, but not the event below it)?

It’s the former. Also, worth noting, when you add things to the album, the photo / videos that have been added show up in the chat. When you see circles show up below newly added content, that means those people have seen the photos / videos that have been added up until that point.
