Display days old instead of 0 months

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

I love the feature that says how old someone is when the photo was taken.

It would be special if it could say days old for a new born instead of displaying 0 months old

Maybe it could be extended a bit further? For example:

Show only days for the first month.
Show months beyond the current 2-year limit, perhaps up to 5–7 years.
After 7 years, show only years, as it does now.

This would provide more useful age information for young children while keeping the display simple for older children and adults.

P.S. I originally proposed a fully customizable solution (see #29921), but I agree that it might be a bit overkill for this use case.
