MacOS Desktop Fulscreen Playback Dimming

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

When viewing videos in the player, the mouse has to be completly off the interface to undim the video. It would be better if the video wouldn't dim at all.
