I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Many sports have seasons that do not align to 1st Jan -> 31st Dec. In the UK the club football season might run from late July/August through to April/May. It would be good if albums could be made to align to an arbitrary date rather than presuming this to be the calendar year.
