Uh oh!

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Immich currently supports person-based search at the asset level (i.e. finding photos containing a specific face or set of faces within a single image). This is sometimes insufficient for real-world scenarios where people appear across multiple photos taken close in time but not necessarily in the same asset.
When trying to find that event and I only know that Persons A, B, C and D must be on this events photos, the current face search cannot identify this event.
This prevents discovery of real-world “meetings” or “gatherings” across multiple assets.
Proposed Feature
Introduce a temporal co-occurrence search over assets and people, enabling queries that return time-bounded event clusters where selected people appear within a configurable time window.
Use Cases
Find all real-life meetings between selected people
Reconstruct social events (parties, trips, gatherings)
Identify “who was together” even without single group photos
Improve browsing of large libraries by reducing fragmented results
