Immich already has a GPS utility where you can grab a location from one photo and apply it to a bunch of others, or drop them all on a map. It's great for photos that never got coordinates.
Dates have the exact same problem, but there's no equivalent tool. I'd love a Date utility that does for time what the GPS utility does for location.
Three cases I keep running into:
1. Copy a date from one photo to others
I have a scanned photo or a screenshot with the right date, and a pile of related shots with a wrong or missing date. Let me pick one asset as the "source of truth" and apply its date/time to the selected ones — same as copying GPS location.
2. Fix a scattered scene
One event ends up smeared across the timeline because a camera's clock was off or the timezone was wrong — some shots at 3pm, some at 3am, some on the wrong day. Let me select the whole scene and either shift them all by the same offset, or align them to a single reference photo, so they sit together again.
3. Suggest a date from nearby photos
For a photo with no date at all (or a wrong one), it'd be great if Immich could suggest one based on similar/surrounding photos (same day, same place, taken right before/after) — I confirm, it applies. Basically date inference instead of guessing manually.
