Agree this is a good mobile workflow improvement. The least surprising implementation would add Archive to the existing single-asset viewer action menu and call the same archive mutation used by the gallery or selection flow, so permissions, shared-library rules, undo or toast behavior, and server-side semantics stay consistent. A few details are worth pinning down:
The main UX question is whether archiving should automatically advance to the next asset or close the viewer; either is fine if it is consistent with the current delete and favorite actions. Reusing the existing mutation path should keep this small and avoid a mobile-only archive implementation. |

The archive button is behind the "Add to" button at the bottom, and was already there when this thread was created. |

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Could an archive option please be added to the dropdown menu in the mobile image viewer? Right now to archive on mobile you have to backtrack to the gallery view, long select, then archive.
