[Feature] map - search for location by name on the map view

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

when i'm looking at the map, i'd like to be able to search for a "place" name (text input) and jump/zoom to that location on the map, instead of having to manually zoom until it appears (quite hard if you're not to familiar with the area)

a bit like the Google maps ui:

text input would be a city, area or country and it would zoom into the respective area after confirming the search, so i could quickly check if i've taking pictures in the area of some new place i heard about.

So a bit like this:

Nowhere does this ticket mention adding location search to the map though? 17918 is about extending advanced search?

They both amount at the core to wanting to find a set of photos in an area by entering a particular anchor point.

There is a nuance here that the search is with intention to focus/move the map to a specific viewing location, while 17918 is strictly about asset search. This has been reopened, since it is a different use case.
