[Feature] Show location alongside the date in the timeline

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

I would love to see the location displayed alongside the date in the Immich timeline, similar to how Google Photos handles this.

For example, instead of only showing:

Mon, Aug 17

the timeline could show:

Mon, Aug 17 · Schoorl, Netherlands and another location

This would make the timeline much more useful for browsing and remembering trips, especially when there are many photos taken on different days and in different places.

Immich already has the GPS/location information and reverse-geocoded places, so this seems like a natural extension of the existing timeline.

Suggested behavior

• Display the date as it currently does.

• If photos from that day have location information, display the city/location next to or below the date.

• If there are photos from multiple locations that day, show something like:

• • Schoorl, Netherlands and another location
• • or Schoorl, Netherlands · Amsterdam, Netherlands

• If no location information is available, simply display the date as usual.

• Ideally, clicking the location could also open the corresponding place/map view.

Google Photos already uses a similar approach, which makes browsing a large photo library very convenient.

Would this be something that could be considered for the Immich timeline?
