[Feature] Desktop app for both Windows and Linux

The feature

This is one thing I am truly missing on immich!

I HATE web apps. They are slower, have to occupy tabs, are limited to web environment, can't alt-tab to them, often don't support right-click or drag and drop, can't access physical data, getting file out and to specific folder requires multiple steps.

Please! Make the desktop application for it, so we can seamlessly drag and drop and manage the photos/videos from the computer ❤️

Why did you comment on the duplicate thread that you found and then opened new thread? This just wastes the time of the maintainers.

The other thread did not mention Linux, so I wanted to make sure to request that as well.

I was unsure if that should be a new thread of if it is related enough.
