Feature request: Selected shared photos in the normal timeline

Hi,

I’d like to suggest a feature for sharing photos between users.

Currently, there are basically two options:

• Partner Sharing: the shared photos can appear in the normal timeline, but the whole library has to be shared.
• Shared Albums: you can select exactly which photos you want to share, but those photos stay inside the shared album and don't appear in the normal timeline.

What I’m looking for is a combination of both.

For example:

User A has 20,000 private photos. User A selects 200 photos from a family event and shares them with User B.

User B should then see those 200 photos directly in their normal timeline, chronologically mixed with their own photos. The photos should still belong to User A, so it should be possible to clearly see who uploaded/owns each photo.

Importantly, User B should NOT get access to User A's entire library.

Ideally, this could work on a shared-album basis with an option such as:

“Show this shared album in my timeline”

or even:

“Add shared photos to timeline”

The photos wouldn't need to be copied or duplicated. They could simply be virtually included in the recipient's timeline while retaining their original owner.

This would be very useful for families and couples. For example, everyone could take photos during a vacation or family event and then share only the relevant photos. Everyone could see the selected photos together in chronological order without having to expose their entire personal library.

I know that Partner Sharing already provides a combined timeline, but it is too broad for this use case. I only want to share specific photos, not my complete camera roll.

It would also be nice if the timeline made it clear which user owns each shared photo, for example with a small avatar or “Shared by Maxim” indicator.
