The feature

Upload photos directly to an album in the mobile app

I would like to be able to upload photos and videos directly into a specific album from the Immich mobile app on iOS and Android.

Currently, my preferred workflow is to create an album, select photos from my device, and upload them directly into that album.

The web interface already provides a convenient way to upload photos directly into an album, but the mobile app does not offer the same workflow.

Ideally, the mobile app should allow users to:

• Open an existing album.
• Tap an upload button.
• Select photos and videos directly from the device's photo library.
• Upload the selected files directly into the album without having to add them afterward.

This would make Immich much more convenient for users who prefer manually uploading and organizing their photos instead of automatically backing up their entire photo library.
