Apparently this is an OpenNoodle-specific feature, so I guess I'll close this to save the trouble. |

The feature
When reviewing suggested faces for a given person, it would be extremely useful if there were additional details about the image along with a link to the original.
When the face in an image is blurry (old photo) or small (face in distance relative to the rest of the photo), the sized down version shown for selection can make it difficult to identify the person in the image. Having other context like the filename, description, date, album(s), etc. would go a long way to help narrow down who might be in the image. Adding a link to the original photo could also allow for zooming in or comparing to other photos taken around the same time where the person might be more easily recognized by comparing with other photos (e.g. a blurry face could be identified by their clothing).
Though it wouldn't solve things, it could also help alleviate some of the pain working around the lack of date ranges for faces, too: #18297 (e.g. my gallery has over 40 years of photos; if I can see the year on an image I can quickly mark "different person" if I know the person was not around in that year).
Here is the workflow I'm talking about (sorry for the poor image; this is particularly bad but also one of the few I felt ok sharing publicly):
