Start here: one app file for Mac, Windows and Linux

Hi, I'm Yashraj. I'm building Krate so developers can ship their software as one .krate file and pass it between people on Mac, Windows and Linux. Each person installs the native Krate runtime for their system; the app file stays the same.

Try it before building anything: download and run Chart. The instructions include its source, checksum and a terminal check. You don't need Rust or an AI account to run it.

• See the same-file proof, including the checks on all three operating systems.
• Build your own app, or create one with AI in Krate Studio.
• Bring an existing project. Start by checking the features and dependencies it needs.

If you get stuck, ask in Q&A. Include your OS, Krate version, what you tried and the exact error, with secrets and private paths removed.
